Gettin' Hungry Yet?

Despite the odd swing in temperatures the past day or so, summer is nearly upon us, and that means many of us will soon be packing up the gang for days out on the lake or in the park. Which also means hours spent planning and packing all those picnic lunches.

Or, you can let us take care of the meal part. We've recently launched (I originally typo-ed that as "lunched"- clearly my mind is already on the way to Horsefeathers) our Bulk Carry-Out menu. You can mix and match with bulk cooked meats and sides, or choose one of our ready-made packs. Either way, you get great Horsefeathers Roadhouse food to take to wherever the season's activities bring you. We can even hook you up with cups, plates, and cutlery, so it's perfect for even those spur-of-the-moment outings.

And, don't forget it's Wednesday today. That means $.40 wings and $2 Corona out at the Roadhouse. This regular Wednesday night feature is becoming really popular, so come on out and see what the fuss is all about. Better yet, come stake out your place and become another one of the regulars!

Here comes the weekend

If you missed TJ Black last night, well, why? Don't worry too much, though, he'll be back at the Roadhouse in a couple weeks. Besides, it's time to focus on the weekend now!

Every Friday is Bike Night at the Roadhouse, and we let our exclusive Hawg Wings go for only $5, even if you don't ride a "hawg". We've got Icehouse on special tonight, too.

Tomorrow (Saturday) night, RB Stone is returning to the stage at the Roadhouse. You can find out a bit about RB over on his website . Couple that with our $2 draft beer special and you've got a recipe for one heck of an evening.

Sunday night is Poker Night, with 2 Texas Hold 'em tournaments with Local Circuit Events. Check the Roadhouse website for more info.

By the way, we're now on LKNFun.com. Click on over to see more about these and all or our upcoming events.

Live Music Tonight

We've got TJ Black back tonight at the Roadhouse. Always a local favorite, TJ plays originals and a lot of your favorite covers. Come on out and enjoy the show, because as TJ says when singing an old David Alan Coe favorite, "I'll hang around as long as JD will let me".

Here we are

Well, this is our blog. Obviously. Why do we need a blog? We figured it was a great way to let you know some of the stuff going on at the Roadhouse, like when JD finds some berries he likes and decides to offer a limited run cobbler for awhile, or Lisa gets a last minute entertainment booking lined up. It's also where we'll let you in on some of the upcoming plans- stuff we want to do, and are working on, but might not be firm enough yet to get announced on the website.

So, welcome. Enjoy. Expect things on the page to move around a lot while we get the layout and look to our liking.
